Credera is a global boutique consulting firm with 22 locations worldwide. Known for its unique consulting model, Credera blends business transformation expertise with deep technology capabilities to accelerate growth and create exceptional customer experiences.
Each year, Credera welcomes a high volume of graduate and intern-level talent across the US. However, the recruitment process was becoming increasingly time-intensive for its lean hiring team. At the same time, the business had identified a challenge with early-stage retention, driven by limited candidate insight into the day-to-day realities of the roles available.

Solution
A fully bespoke, branded online assessment
Ahead of Credera’s fall 2023 early careers recruitment campaign, we partnered to co-create a fully bespoke, branded online assessment using Capptivate, our immersive assessment platform.
After their initial application, candidates are invited to complete the assessment, which features realistic, scenario-based challenges drawn from actual Credera workplace experiences.
This provides a dual benefit: giving candidates a genuine preview of the role while offering Credera robust data to support smarter, faster decision-making.
To ensure full alignment, we carried out:

Perception surveys to validate these findings with a wider cross-section of Credera colleagues

Collaborative content development, using brand assets and real workplace examples to design meaningful, insight-rich assessment scenarios

Continuous improvement
Following the success of the pilot, Credera and Cappfinity continue to refine the assessment process using candidate feedback and data insights to further enhance performance, experience, and efficiency.
By streamlining interviews and enhancing upfront role insights with real-world scenarios, the new approach has not only freed up valuable time for the recruitment team but is also expected to boost long-term retention.
The final product enables candidates to engage with a realistic preview of working life at Credera, while their responses help surface those who best align with the firm’s needs.
